If you are in fear of imminent serious bodily harm by a family member or are being harassed, I will seek a protective order on your behalf. If your spouse is seeking a restraining order to gain leverage in your divorce or custody case, I will zealously defend you.
Guardianship of a Minor
In some cases, a parent is unable or unfit to care for his or her child. I can assist extended family members in obtaining guardianship of the child.
Equity Matters
If your adult child is unable to self-support by reason of his/her disability, I will ensure that the other parent pays the appropriate amount of financial support. If you supplied monies to your adult child for an in-law apartment with the expectation that you would be able to reside there for the rest of your life and he/she is now divorcing, I will file an action to prevent their unjust enrichment.
